The Mile-High City offers all the advantages of the big city, without making residents feel trapped in a concrete jungle. Denver’s very walkable downtown includes a pedestrian mall, plazas, and parks, surrounded by the attractive architecture of towering skyscrapers. The city can further be enjoyed through the many galleries, restaurants, theaters and bars created from historic warehouses and Victorian buildings. Denverites can easily take advantage of the early mornings and fresh air of their Rocky Mountain town through boating, hiking, rafting, camping, climbing, skiing, and local bike paths practically any day of the year. It also cannot be overlooked that Denver is considered to produce some of the finest micro-brews in the country. It can be said that Denver may be the best city for the outdoor enthusiast trapped in a business suit.
