The recently booming city of Seattle could not be placed in a more beautiful natural setting as it’s surrounded by a rugged wilderness of mountains, volcanoes, glaciers, and water. With such easy access to the Olympic mountains, Mt Ranier, and Puget Sound, it’s no wonder that some of the favored outdoor activities in Seattle include hiking, skiing, kayaking, and sailing. Yet, despite the adventure available in the “Emerald City”, walking is known to be most popular with the acres upon acres of parks, forests, bluffs, shorelines, and waterfronts. Seattle also offers exciting culture to explore. Within the many unique neighborhoods there is live music, posh art galleries, boutiques, and quaint restaurants to enjoy. Who’d have known that beyond Microsoft, Starbucks, and Grunge, there would be so much to discover in Seattle?
